Our meetings take place on the THIRD Monday in the month in the Pavilion, Pencader, at 7:30pm.

Current website had been updated with latest CBC, plus info from Skanda Vale about their planned walking events. The updated website files had now been sent to SCL for them to swap the sites over.
Table-Top sale being promoted on website and Facebook, posters to be distributed to usual outlets.
The group were told there will be no Carnival this year due to lack of community support.
Nine helpers had taken part in the Clean Up and 18 bags of litter collected. By the next day time CCC came next day to remove the 18 bags someone had added a further 10 black bags of soil and ashes.
This is not acceptable, nor is dumping of rubbish behind the wall by the bridge.
The new planter has been installed at the panel area, and thanks sent to the maker for his generosity.
Invoices sent out for CBC advert renewals, it was agreed that if not paid by time issue due to go to press then advert would be deleted.
Postage costs due to rise at end of month so stock of stamps for mailing CBC copies
purchased at current rate to keep costs in line with grant application.
Louisa now taken over as Facebook coordinator Work continues on new website, the Online Directory needs updating, request to go in CBC for new entries.
Quote received for repairing hardwood bench, awaiting another one before decision can be made.
Clean up- forms submitted to CCC with request for equipment.
Skanda Vale had asked Group for letter of support for a project that they are submitting to Brechfa Windfarm fund. It was agreed to support their application.
The Gwili plate has now been mounted in a wooden frame; it just needs a descriptive plaque making for it.
Statkraft has very generously agreed to fund the newsletter for a further two years. The Editor has quite a few ideas for future articles but wants to ask readers what they would like to see. It will now be possible to have more colour pages in future issues.
A volunteer has kindly offered to make a new trough for the Panel Area and will also quote for repairs to the hardwood bench.
Several suggestions made for fund raising in the next few months. See notices elsewhere.
The AGM was held on Monday 21st January. It was unanimously decided that all officers would remain in office for another year; Stuart thanked Group for all their hard work in 2018.
It is hoped that the new website would go live in a few weeks; the original background information has to be re-written as it is very much out of date. The Parish Directory also has to be rewritten as there are so many changes.
Work needs to be done on the wooden furniture at the Interpretation Panel Area; enquiries are to be made on costs etc.
Cup had been purchased and presented to the winner from this year’s show.
